The neighborhood opens to the south and is lined with long rectangular one-story houses from east to west. The townscape was closed by fences and fences in the south garden, and in order to overcome this impression, we aimed for a house that was open to the area.

Since the site was open at a three-way junction in the southwest direction, the garden was set on the ground so that the west could be connected to the road. rice field. We deepen exchanges within reach and do not interfere with daylighting. The building is bent to get the south light. It has a mysterious shape, but the idea of creating as much space as needed without caring for the client's neighborhood, town, and family and unnecessarily large space was born. I was hoping for a one-story building, but I made it a two-story building on a budget, and created a one-story space with a gently rising line of sight, from the tatami living room to the children's study loft on the second floor.
